Elisa DiChristina, LCSW has an array of clinical experiences. She consulted to New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency, taught as an adjunct professor and worked as a psychotherapist. She was credentialed as a NJ Mental Health Screener, NJ Court Appointed Parent Coordinator and NJ Certified Divorce Mediator. Elisa is the founder and CEO of GlowHouse Kids, LLC, an activities based glow in the dark center for children. GlowHouse Kids partners with various schools and community organizations to provide relevant programs.

Katherine Fackina, PH.D.

 

Dr. Fackina earned both a Ph.D. and Educational Specialist Degree in Family Psychology from Seton Hall University and is licensed by the states of New York and New Jersey to practice psychology.  She is currently an adjunct professor teaching at the graduate level across psychology programs. 


Dr. Fackina has a wealth of clinical experience stemming from her work with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of diverse environments including hospital, community, legal, and private-based clinical settings. Additionally, she is currently involved in sports/performance enhancement work with elite (e.g., university) and professional (e.g., NFL, MLS and NHL) athletes.  Dr. Fackina approaches both her educational and therapeutic work from a strength-based perspective and believes that effective prevention involves a collaborative process. While her practice primarily incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) theory, the clinical foundation from which she works is enhanced through specialized training in traumatic stress management, as well as advanced training in psychological assessment, play therapy, dual diagnosis treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She remains actively involved in scholarly research, has presented at state and national conferences, and has published book chapters and articles in various psychology and related-field periodicals.
